Hi!

I have long since been interested in cosmetics; I started wearing make-up pretty much on a daily basis around the age of twelve.  Because I am hideous without it.  However, since turning thirty, I have experienced a renewed interest – read: obsession – with make-up, and even skin care products, which I had never before dabbled much with.  Yes, I am in my “dirty thirties”, and I plan to review products that will probably interest a 30+ age bracket.  At least that’s my intention at the time of launch.

This is just a hobby of mine.  I love reading beauty blogs, and I find reviews more than helpful when I researching a new product.  I intend to post reviews as objectively as possible.  I am not getting paid by any company to review their products.   I do not hope to become a quasi-internet celebrity.  I’m just having fun!

So here’s a little about me:  My name is Jackie, I’m 30, and I live in Raleigh, North Carolina.  I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio.  I just married the love of my life on February 8, 2013.  I am attending college classes part-time for business administration degree.  I have two dogs that are like my babies – a Golden Retriever mix named Darwin, and a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Bebop.  I also have two cats, Smudge and Sputnik.  I am a product junkie, and I absolutely love trying new things.  I’m on a quest to find my “Holy Grail” beauty products.  (E-mail me any recommendations!)  My favorite products are currently night creams and dry shampoos.
